Does Pepitt work completely offline?

Yes. You can record and save audio entirely offline, directly to your device. Once your network connection returns, Pepitt will automatically generate your transcriptions and structured notes. Exporting your notes to Markdown or plain text also works seamlessly offline.

What languages are supported?

Pepitt supports transcription in over 60 languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin Chinese. It can even handle conversations where speakers switch languages mid-sentence.

Is my audio private? Do you train AI on my recordings?

Your privacy is absolute. Audio is sent securely to our EU-based transcription service and is deleted automatically immediately after processing. Recordings exist on our servers for a maximum of 30 days—strictly to provide you with playback quotes in your notes—and are never used to train external AI models.

How does the Anki integration work? Is it secure?

You simply log in using your AnkiWeb credentials inside the app. We never store your password on our servers; only a secure access token lives locally on your device, allowing Pepitt to push flashcards directly to your decks.

What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?

The free plan gives you 90 minutes of transcription and 50 note creations/refinements per month. Pepitt Pro unlocks unlimited recordings, unlimited note generation, and unlimited refinements.
